Marquis Glory Kidjo

Structure
Kidjo is 22 inches high, and a solid masculin, medium size male. He is a red merle with strong and deep colours. He has a big and very masculin head. He has very correct angulation, both front and rear, and so he moves with an easy and effective trot.

His attitude is strong and with a lot of self confidence!

He has full detention and siscorbite. He has good hips and excellent elbows, and his eyes are being checked yearly. Kidjo has also been testet for inherited Cataract, and found clear! Finally I x-rayed his back and hips when he was 8½ years old, and there are absolutely no signs of any changes or wear anywhere! I did this to make sure, that my breeding program is sound and strong enough to continue with my plans.

Temperament
Kidjo has the personality that just loves life, and he is never in a bad mood. He will talk to any human or any dog. He is a good dog behaviorist, and I have never seen him in a situation that he didn't control. He is not dominant, and if he meets someone who wants to fight, he will just walks away.

He is an active dog, and loves to work and be with his family.

History
I have had Kidjo since he was 8 weeks old. I went to USA to get him, but it was not really me who chose him, it was more like him choosing me. Everytime I passed where the puppies was, he would stand still and just look at me until he could not see me anymore. Nice and easy he just looked at me, but with a remarkable intensity. So there was not actually a choice. I have never regret that!

To me Kidjo is the one - he is everything I could dream of in a dog, and more. He and I are undevisable, and I just love this dog more and more every day.

At fall 2005 Kidjo passed the ultimate mental test. I was on my way to Norway to show him, and we drove into a moose in Sweden.

It was a big collision, and I must say that someone was watching over us! It was only the car that was chrashed. I will never forget the reaction from Kidjo. He was so cool, relying on me to have full control in the situation. He was focused and a special kind of calm - I will never forget this! First the chocking collision with the moose, then a ride with an ambulance, then police station and then finally in a hotel. He was left for 3 hours by him self at the hotel, with absolutly nothing to indicate that I would get back to him.

Once again he convinced me that he just is the best! The bond we have together, I would like every dogowner to have with their dog.

Snow is lovely.....
